Job Summary

As a senior-level Product Architect you will be aligned with one or more product areas where you will be accountable for the overall technology vision and evolution of a Target State Architecture meeting functional and non-functional requirements, adoption of enterprise IT strategies, and management of technical debt. You will also be aligned to consumer delivery workstreams working with Experience Owners and other Product Architects to deliver business solutions that are aligned with both business and technology strategies promoting Target State Architecture. In addition, you will be working with application/delivery teams to ensure that the individual designs are in alignment with your solution approach.

Summary of essential job functions:

• Work with Experience Owners and IT leadership to understand and capture business outcome goals and collaborate with other product, domain, and application architects to define the solution approach to support the business outcomes
• Design and present architectural designs and flow diagrams
• Develop and lead the implementation of business solutions supporting business outcomes while adhering to target state strategies.
• Consult with IT product architects in infrastructure, cyber security, and data to ensure business solutions comply with target state requirements
• Conduct technical assessment of business ideas and concepts to support business value and prioritization
• Analyze technology industry and market trends to determine their potential impact on the enterprise
• Assist business areas to evaluate emerging technology products and services
• Support the strategic goals of the bank, including alignment with strategic capabilities, target state architectures & technology standards
• Define the principles, positions, and patterns to guide solution decisions.
• Analyze the IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.
• Develop product roadmaps for the evolution of the application portfolio towards target state which includes maintaining technology currency and the elimination of technical debt
• Identify organizational impact (for example, on skills, processes, structures or culture) and financial impacts.
• Design and direct the governance activities associated with ensuring target state compliance.
• Facilitate enterprise governance and assurance activities and outcomes
• Mentor solution architects, application architects, tech leads and developers
• Lead the evolution of the architecture practice
