Job Summary:
Heitmeyer’s banking client continues to expand their consumer and commercial clientele and in order to support the growth, they are adding a Director of Relationship Banking to build and manage small teams across the country that will cultivate existing and generate new business relationships. This role is 100% remote but requires extensive travel to various states across the country. This person must reside in Georgia, North Carolina, or Virginia.
Job Description:
Reporting to the Chief Banking Officer and serving on the bank’s leadership committee, the Director of Relationship Banking will be responsible for managing a team of regional relationship bankers while maintaining a small book of top-tier clients. Other key areas of focus include hiring, training, developing and executing sales campaigns and strategies to drive growth and improvement, and managing relationship banking locations.
Required Skills:
- 12+ years of banking/financial services experience.
- Tenure concentrations in management and business development/sales in the areas of lending, deposits, and branch banking both consumer and business lending.
- Experience managing a team of direct reports.
- Experience creating sales campaigns and develop trainings
- Ability to travel to conventions, meetings, client visits, and direct report locations as needed to expand bank’s brand recognition and support teams.
