Job Title: DevOps Automation Engineer
Duration:  Contract-to-hire

Heitmeyer Consulting is currently seeking DevOps Automation Engineer for a contract-to-hire opportunity with one of our financial services clients. We are seeking a highly skilled engineer with specific experience in Microsoft Azure. The selected candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated software delivery. This individual will be responsible to drive the adoption of DevOps practices, tools, and technologies with a focus on Azure cloud services.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a robust and scalable automated software delivery pipeline using Azure DevOps and other related tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and quality assurance, to understand their requirements and provide automation solutions.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for applications.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years’ experience as a DevOps Engineer, Automation Engineer or similar role.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure
• Significant experience working with deployment automation.
• Expertise in API testing using opensource framework like RestAssured.
• Experience working with one or more of the following:
  • Jenkins
  • XLR, XLD
  • Scripting
  • Dynatrace
  • Splunk
