Job Title: COBOL Developer
Location:  100% remote

Heitmeyer Consulting is currently hiring a COBOL Developer to join one of our bank clients.  This individual will serve a COBOL Developer making modifications to existing code in the Shaw Systems loan management system.

Responsibilities:

  • Use your mainframe skills to largely modify existing code.

Required Skill:

  • Extensive Cobol on z/OS experience
  • Extensive mainframe software development/design track record
  • Strong TSO and problem solving (Xpediter/Abend-aid)
    • Time Sharing Option/Extensions (TSO/E) allows users to create an interactive session with the z/OS® system.
  • Must be able to jump in and make a contribution right away.

Preferred Skills:

  • Shaw (version 4.x) Consumer Lending strongly preferred.
