Role:  Axiom Developer /  IT – Application Architect
Start date: June
Contract through April with possibility of FTE conversion
100% remote or local to Chicago

Our client, a Chicago based global financial institution, is looking for an Axiom SL Developer to join their team.  Exciting opportunity for a candidate who has a strong Axiom background and looking for their next career move.

The successful candidate will support various projects for the Cash business unit, specifically 2023 GRS NA & GRS EMEA strategic projects.  Will play a key role in some of the development & support activities related to these projects.  For example, configure objects and reports in Axiom. 

Skills – must haves:

• AXIOM SL – developer (not tester)
  • 3 years minimum of Axiom SL controller view development experience
• IT development experience (6-8 years minimum)
• Axiom database maintenance
• Code development – develop data models, data sources, objects
• Change management – will support SAT & UAT & into production, post production support, batch processing, and upgrade patches
• Collaboration skills – Work across different teams (QAs and Business teams)
• Experience configuring regulatory reports 
• Communication skills
• Strong references

Nice to have:

• Work in teams internally and with vendors, in the US and India
• Financial services
• Regulatory Reporting & Data Warehousing
• US regulatory reports knowledge / experience – FFIEC031, FFIEC041, FFIEC009 etc.
