Job Summary
Heitmeyer’s east coast banking client’s enterprise data team is migrating to the cloud and is seeking multiple hands-on Lead Cloud Data Engineers to support the effort. This role is required to be on-site 2 days a week in Mount Laurel, NJ, Charlotte, NC, Falmouth, ME, or Raleigh, NC. Potential to convert to a full-time employee depending on performance.

Job Description:
Key responsibilities include  following scaled agile process by attending scrum meetings, obtaining technical requirements from BSA to build prototypes and cloud data pipelines with Python and SQL for retail projects. Other responsibilities ETL/ELT integration and guiding junior developers.

Required Skills:

• 7-10+ years of experience in data engineering of data warehousing environments 
• Ability to perform cloud development and guide junior developers
• Strong ETL / ELT and understanding of enterprise architecture
• Cloud based data integration experience using various tools including workflow / workload tools  
• Must have strong SQL experience
• Must have Python / PySpark experience building data pipelines

Nice-to-Have:

• MS Azure Cloud
• Databricks
• Informatica ETL experience
