Role: Project Manager 
6 month contract – extensions likely throughout 2024 (FTE possible)
Chicago preferred – 3 days hybrid in office – virtual possible (must work CST hours)
Start date: mid-September

Our Chicago based Global Financial Institution client is looking for a Project Manager to support with various projects and initiatives in the IT Infrastructure team. 

Top Skills – Must haves:

  • ADO experience (Azure DevOps)
  • CMDB (Configuration Management Database) experience
  • Understanding of Infrastructure and what trying to achieve
  • Audit and regulatory understanding
  • Strong excel and Power BI skills – can provide data driven insights
  • Analytical, detail oriented and organized
  • Action oriented / proactive – go getter who gets things done
  • Collaborate across different teams / functions
  • Positive attitude and resilient
  • Strong Communication – written & verbal
  • Smart, high energy, willing to work hard, likes data and likes to learn

Nice to haves:

  • Financial Services working in a global banking environment important – but can be coached if minimal experience

Role / Responsibilities:

  • Will support the SVP of Infrastructure and team to deliver various projects and initiatives
  • Will manage key workstreams – gather requirements, work with a BA, and drive/manage progress
  • Support automation of data feeds in the CMDB inventory of assets
  • Report backlog, review stories each week, identify blockers and work to resolve
  • Will use Excel and PowerBI to deliver data driven insights
  • Drive operationalization of reporting and communication requirements.
  • Must have a strong attention detail.
  • Occasional overtime and flexible hours may be required
