Job Title: Technical Business Analyst
Job Summary:
Heitmeyer Consulting is currently seeking a Technical Business Analyst for a contract opportunity with one of our financial services clients in Columbus, Ohio. Our client is looking for a candidate who has experience writing, refining, and maintaining User Stories related to API development in an Agile environment.
Job Responsibilities:

• Perform analysis of business issues, provide recommendations for possible solutions, work with Business users and IT project teams to drive decision making and define requirements for application development, ensuring that business needs and IT controls are being met.
• Works closely with the Execution Manager (EM), Experience Owner (EO), and Product Owner (PO) to identify cross impacted teams and obtain a high-level effort related to Epics and Features.
• Complete Use Cases and User Stories to guide application development efforts, working closely with the development teams and business teams to ensure successful implementation
• Analyze opportunities to improve application reliability, provide recommendations for possible solutions, and work with IT and Business partners to implement solutions that enhance application and infrastructure reliability.
• Has a strong understanding of API’s, Real Time Service Calls, and external file transfers.

Job Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in business analysis of product and/or software development.
• Has a strong understanding of API’s, Real Time Service Calls, and external file transfers.
• Has previous experience with Agile, Iterative and Waterfall delivery models.
• Exceptional problem solving and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Payments/payment processing background in 1 or more of the following: Wires, ACH, Zelle, TCH RTP or Bill Payments preferred.
