Position: Consultant – Proactive Risk Advisory
Location: Remote

Job Summary:
Our client is in search of a highly qualified and experienced professional to join their Proactive Risk Advisory team supporting fraud operations from a 1b capacity. In this key role, you will be responsible for leading proactive risk management initiatives, identifying potential risks, and providing strategic recommendations to enhance the resilience of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in banking risk management, a proactive mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Proactive Risk Identification:

  • Lead efforts to proactively identify emerging risks within the banking industry and assess their potential impact on the organization.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and scenario analyses to anticipate and prepare for potential challenges.

Strategic Advisory:

  • Provide strategic risk advisory services to senior leadership, offering insights into current and future risk landscape trends.
  • Collaborate with business units to develop and implement proactive risk mitigation strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with risk management, compliance, and business units to foster a collaborative approach to proactive risk management.
  • Serve as a liaison between different departments to ensure a unified understanding of risk factors.

Risk Communication:

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive risk reports and presentations to senior management, highlighting key risk indicators and recommended actions.
  • Foster a culture of risk awareness and accountability throughout the organization.

Policy Development and Implementation:

  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of risk management policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that risk management practices are in compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience within fraud operations in a large bank.
  • Deep understanding of business side fraud operations – 4 lines of defense model.
