Role: Implementation/Conversion Analyst 

Duration: 6-Months 

Location: 100% Remote

JOB SUMMARY 

  • Examines data files, processes, forms, reports and operational needs of customers and completes data mapping and transaction workflow documents as the basis of the conversion to FIS system.
  • Validates the accuracy of all data and transactions.
  • Determines customer specific processing parameters and completes vendor system set up for client use.
  • Train/assist clients on the use of vendor systems and provides support during conversion.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develops understanding of and defines client products and services through information gathering sessions to determine how systems must be established to meet client needs.
  • Completes product workflow documents summarizing all processing requirements, ensuring alignment with the aforementioned notes, and determines key challenges in converting the customer to vendor systems.
  • Gathers forms and data files from customers through data analysis, product mapping, and interviews, assessing requirements for software utilization, with a particular emphasis on customization needs in the banking and finance sector.
  • Creates data maps and transaction workflow documents, adhering to the technical specifications required for conversion, with iterative refinement to ensure accuracy.
  • Conducts or oversees User Acceptance Testing (UAT) or integration testing, recognizing it as a valuable asset, but not mandatory.
  • Coordinates and conducts readiness reviews, ensuring customer training and procedures, system setup, and conversion data align with expectations.
  • Customizes vendor software to meet individual customer needs, reflecting the specific requirements of the banking and finance industry.
  • Provides expertise and guidance to clients throughout the project, addressing questions and concerns related to system usage and functionality.
  • Conducts train-the-trainer sessions to instruct internal and external customers on changes, new systems, or procedures.
  • Acts as an on-site resource during conversion, troubleshooting problems, providing support, and ensuring smooth implementation.
  • Coordinates post-conversion maintenance, including error resolution, system or data changes, and balancing adjustments.

 
JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and in written form
  • Previous Banking, FinTech or Financial Services experience
  • Experience and past experience assisting with implementations/conversation
  • Previous experience/understanding with Credit Cards – ideally would love someone who has assisted with credit card implementation 
  • Analytical and technical skills required for data mapping positions
  • Flexibility, versatility, and dependability to handle project expectations
