Job Summary
Heitmeyer Consulting’s insurance client is seeking a Director of Business Intelligence & Analytics to join its Enterprise Analytics group as a direct employee to run the data product improvement team. This role requires onsite 3 days a week in Cincinnati, Ohio and offers a competitive base salary and bonus structure.

Job Description:
Partnering with the team who is creating the data products / prototypes, the Director of Business Intelligence & Analytics will be responsible for creating the strategy and roadmap for enhancing those products (not creating them) to meet customer needs. Additionally, this person will be managing a team of data analysts and developers doing the BI and descriptive analytics work.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of Business intelligence, analytics experience
• 2+ years of people management experience
• Product Management (BI) experience including running product improvement projects from start to finish.
• P&C experience primary and life insurance secondary
• Top notch communication and leadership qualities
• Critical thinker and strong problem-solving skills to work through ambiguous environments
• Background in any business intelligence and analysis tools / technologies (SQL, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree

• Cognos
