Job Title: Sr. Program Manager

Heitmeyer Consulting is currently seeking a Program Manager for a contract-to-hire opportunity with one of our financial services clients. The individual selected for this position will provide leadership and have overall responsibility for planning, directing and coordinating activities pertaining to technology and business unit programs. This candidate will be joining a team whose book of work continues to expand based off a proven track record of success. This individual must be highly organized, willing to drive results/timelines, comfortable with presenting to C-level executives and effectively manage budgets.
Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of programs. 
• Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget and that IT governance is followed. 
• Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. 
• Works with business segment manager(s) and program/project sponsors to establish the project scope, deliverables, budget and schedule.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of progressive experience in Program and Project Management
• 5+ years as a Program Manager leading large transformational efforts.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams, work cross-functionally with executive leaders and successfully deliver programs with a detailed focus on budget management.
• Ability to build relationships and skillfully problem solve to ensure the successful outcome of large initiatives.
• Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, decision making, and problem solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to handle multiple priorities and effectively prioritize them
• Ability to provide strong program and project leadership during periods of uncertainty, ambiguity, and change

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in Banking or Financial Services
• PMP Certification
