Job Summary
Heitmeyer Consulting is seeking a National Market Manager to join its growing banking client as a direct employee to the bank. If you are an experienced banking professional with a rural mindset and the love for travel, business development, and managing a portfolio of high-profile clients then this role may be for you!

This role can sit remotely in SC, NC, LA, MN, TN, and VA and expects 50% travel to KY, IN, CO, MN, WY, LA, FL, AZ, ID, MS, SC, and New England area throughout the tenure of this role. Other states could apply in the future. 

Required Skills:

• 8-10+ years experience in a banking servicing, sales-oriented role 
• 7+ years of Small Business and Consumer Lending experience including end-to-end lifecycle of the business lending process with customers (i.e. underwriting, how a loan is structured, products involved, etc.)
• 1+ years of commercial lending experience
• Must have experience working at a community bank or small bank 
• Experience in Core deposits and knowledge of treasury products
• Experience in face-to-face interactions with business clientele, personalizing their banking solutions, and cross-selling
• Experience and willingness to generate new business through various business development tactics including networking, conventions, cold calling, brand awareness, etc. and converting those efforts in production 
• Proven portfolio of business and innovative thinker on how to grow and structure it
• Demonstrates excellent communication and customer service skills
• Fast learner and ability to work in unstructured environments with little hand holding

Desired Skills (nice-to-have):

• Undergraduate degree in banking, business, finance, or other related field of study
• Underwriting experience
