Job Title: Issue Remediation Assurance Analyst
Location: Hybrid – in office 2 days per week
Job Description
We are seeking an Information Security Specialist with a focus on Regulatory Remediation Assurance to join our global team in ensuring the successful resolution of regulatory issues within the bank. This critical role will be a key member within the team who is tasked with testing and validating that the corrective actions outlined in response to regulatory findings are fully implemented and effectively resolve the issue in question.
The ideal candidate will possess expertise in regulatory compliance, remediation processes, and risk management within a complex, global banking environment. This individual will be responsible for conducting the investigation, assessment, and validation of evidence supporting remediation efforts, and ensuring that the bank’s regulatory obligations are met in full and in a timely manner.
About This Role
- Provides expertise and guidance on assessing risks, identifying potential gaps, and providing security solutions to mitigate risks and protect the bank
- Leads and executes regulatory remediation assurance efforts within an area of significant risk, complexity or scope that includes financial crimes and technology and cybersecurity domains
- Strategic advisor to leadership team with deep industry, external/internal, and enterprise knowledge, recognizing and anticipating emerging trends, and identifying operational efficiencies and opportunities
- Expert with in-depth knowledge of audit methodology for multiple, significant complex businesses, functional areas and/or global business lines
- Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion
- May participate in or lead various projects / division initiatives as needed

Education & Experience
- Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications, accounting designations, or equivalent education required
- 7+ years of relevant audit and/or control testing experience
- Preferred industry certification in audit and information security (i.e. CISSP, CISA, CIA, etc)
- Knowledge of audit standards, procedures, laws, rules, and regulations
- Knowledge of risk management environment, standards, regulations, and mitigation
- Knowledge of current and emerging trends
- Ability to lead, plan, implement and evaluate program/project activities to ensure completion of issue
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across teams and functions
- Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently
- Ability to exercise sound judgement in making decisions
- Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
- Ability to contribute to strategic direction provide advice to senior leadership
