Job Title: Senior Data Scientist
Location: Milwaukee, WI (Hybrid)
Fulltime / Permanent Position
Heitmeyer Consulting is currently seeking experienced Data Scientists to work for one of our clients in Milwaukee that is making exciting investments in their business. These are fulltime positions requiring candidates to be onsite in Milwaukee. Talented Data Scientist located in Greater Milwaukee or willing to relocate will be considered for these opportunities.
Selected individuals will have a mixture of education and strong on the job experience in data analytics working as a data scientist. Needed skills include building regression, response, and quality models. Any experience modernizing and supporting the transformation of analytics capabilities in an enterprise are preferred. Experience working in banking and financial services is needed.
Required Skills
- Master’s degree (Statistics / MIS) or above
- 6+ years working as a Data Scientist including at least 3 years working in a financial institution
- Experience building regression, response, and quality models. Proven experience driving better performance and customer acquisition.
- Experience with model governance and a governance approval process
- AI/Machine Learning model experience
- Programming experience with either Python, R, PySpark
Preferred Requirements
- SageMaker / AWS Platform experience
- Snowflake
- Experience enabling faster customer acquisition and strengthening customer relationships in a financial institution
