Contract Duration: 12 months

Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and technically adept Application Support Analyst. This role is essential to ensuring continuity and support during a major organizational acquisition. The analyst will support several critical applications, including Fiserv FraudGuard, Cash Vault, and teller/cash recycler systems, and will work closely with internal business partners and IT team members to monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents, and fulfill reporting requests.

Key Responsibilities
Application Support & Incident Management

  • Monitor, triage, and resolve incidents across multiple enterprise applications.
  • Provide tier-2 support for systems including:
  • FraudGuard – Investigate discrepancies in check transactions and collaborate with business units to confirm fraud indicators.
  • Cash Vault – Support the inventory management platform used across branches.
  • Teller and Cash Recyclers – Troubleshoot hardware/software interactions, particularly issues with machines dispensing cash.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests using SQL and other tools.
  • Support and potentially expand existing BI reporting capacity.
  • Maintain accuracy and clarity in data extracted from production systems for business partners.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Serve as a liaison between IT and business stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding of system issues and resolutions.
  • Take initiative to identify gaps or offer help across application teams during high-demand periods.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in a technical application support or systems analyst role.
  • Proficient in SQL (required for daily reporting and issue analysis).
  • Experience with Unix/Linux scripting.
  • Splunk experience is highly preferred, as it is used daily for troubleshooting and log analysis, but it is not required.
  • Previous experience supporting or working with Fiserv FraudGuard is a huge plus, but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong initiative and problem-solving mindset.
  • Comfortable operating independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced support environment.
  • Willingness to dive into support tasks rather than development.
  • Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, .NET, C#, and C++ is nice to have, but not required.
