Job Summary:
We are seeking a Business Architect with strong expertise in data governance, data quality, and regulatory reporting for our regional banking client. This position bridges business and technical teams, ensuring financial data integrity and compliance across enterprise systems.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between business and enterprise data teams to ensure clarity in data modeling for finance reporting.
• Support implementation and adherence to data governance and data quality frameworks.
• Validate how new products and account structures fit into existing hierarchies and financial reporting models.
• Ensure finance teams remain informed and aligned during product modernization initiatives.
• Influence cross-functional discussions without being hands-on technical (guide, not code).

 
Must-Have Requirements

• Business Architecture experience in banking, including mastery of product/account hierarchies and financial concepts (loans, deposits, balance sheets, investments).
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting processes.
• Proven experience implementing data governance or data quality frameworks.
• Strong understanding of data lineage and enterprise data modeling; ability to ask the right questions to ensure clarity.
• Excellent communication skills to guide technical teams and influence outcomes without writing SQL.
