Job Title: Application Analyst

Job Summary

Heitmeyer Consulting is currently seeking an Application Analyst for a contract-to-hire opportunity with one of our clients in Columbus, Ohio (REMOTE). The ideal candidate with have significant hands-on application support, Java and SQL DB2 experience. The selected candidate will be required to support change and incident management

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assessing, coordinating, and reviewing all issues and impacts associated with applications support and business processes.
  • Working independently on escalated issues.
  • Proactively suggesting ways of improving system stability, availability, performance, and reliability.
  • Leading teams and projects to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Protecting and insuring the stability of the operational systems as well as maintaining the integrity of the data they contain.

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience working in an Application Support environment.
  • Experience building out process automations and procedures.
  • Significant experience working in a Java environment
  • Experience working in a SQL DB2 to customize abilities and build reports.
  • Experience working on technical assignments independently.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience working in a financial services institution.
  • Experience working with IBM's FTM platform
