Job Summary

Our client, a growing bank in Columbus is looking for a  business analyst to join their team who  will be responsible for supporting Program Managers with the coordination and tracking of project activities and deliverables, providing analytical support and assisting with process evaluation and process documentation in support of M&A conversion activities for the Commercial Banking segment.

Job Description

Project Support

  • Monitor status of project deliverables and milestones

  • Track and maintain project task plans in SharePoint

  • Assist with meeting scheduling, agenda and minutes documentation and status report creation

  • Maintain SharePoint folders and support the collection and storage of project documentation/artifacts

Data and Analytics

  • Collect and compile data to support various project activities

  • Provide analytical support as needed and create ad hoc reports

Process Evaluation and Documentation

  • Lead process evaluation initiatives and document associated process flows

  • Ensures the successful coordination and execution of discovery sessions as identified by Program Managers

  • Provide timely analysis of project initiatives

  • Strong problem solving, analytical skills

  • Adept at navigating grey areas and formulating a vision and actionable plan

  • Synthesize findings into senior level presentations that convey insights and recommendations through compelling storytelling, while maintaining a balance between the big picture and mastery of details

  • Collaborate with team members to review presentation materials with Senior Leads and project Stakeholders

Required Skills/ Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge or proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Visio, with strong knowledge in Microsoft Word and SharePoint

  • Strong problem solving, analytical skills

  • Previous experience facilitating meetings/discussion groups related to process evaluation and documenting process flows

  • Progressive thinker and problem solver, with ability to think critically under pressure and manage ambiguity

  • Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, along with ability to influence and achieve results

  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with internal partners and senior leaders

  • Ability to embrace change, constructively negotiate constraints, and effectively leverage resources to create exceptional outcomes. Consistently inspires high levels of professional demeanor and integrity.

  • Sound planning, time management and organizational skills

  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies

  • Must be able to work on multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously

  • 3-5 years of experience; Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience of 5 to 7 years of work experience
