Job Summary

Heitmeyer is seeking Data Quality Engineers to join its east coast banking client’s retail and credit card pods to help them build up new data warehouses and various migrations including on-prem to Cloud. These roles are required to be in any of the following areas: Charlotte, NC, Mount Laurel, NJ/Philly/Wilmington, Delaware areas, Greenville, SC, Falmouth, Maine/Portland area, or Farmington, Hills, Michigan/Detroit area.

Job Description:

Working in a data warehousing environment, your key responsibilities include back-end system integration testing using SQL, develop ETL related test cases, validate data, and perform end-to-end testing. An individual with a data engineering background with testing expertise and deep SQL knowledge will be very successful in this role.

Required Skills:

• 5-7+ years of experience in data engineering and data warehousing testing including ETL 
• Proficient in SQL for back-end and system integration testing
• Must have experience creating test plans and test cases
• Must demonstrate ability to code as a tester, compare files using SQL, and knowledge of slow changing dimensions and SQL statements
• Experience in various methodologies such as agile and waterfall
• Demonstrates an automation mindset
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
