Job Title: Program Executive

Location: San Francisco (100% Remote from any US location due to COVID restrictions). Some travel expected during mock conversions once bank reopens

Duration: 12+ months

Job Summary:

Heitmeyer is seeking a Program Executive to manage the entire core banking transformation program and take it to completion. This C-Suite level individual should bring strong program core conversion expertise, ideally with FIS IBS, to understand the pitfalls that come with it. The role is remote but required to travel during mock conversions once bank reopens.

Job Description:

This senior executive will be responsible for core migration, business readiness, data, conversion, and portfolio within the program while performing program management activities. This individual will manage multiple simultaneous cross functional teams across the organization, provide leadership for the program team and key interfaces to the program.

Required Skills:

  • Managed large transformation programs
  • Experience of core banking implementations (FIS IBS will be an added plus)
  • 20+ years' total experience with 6+ years' managing large projects independently
  • Proven track record in delivering transformation and complex projects
  • Held a C-Suite position for at least a year
  • Experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment. Experience of working with Product Vendors will be another advantage.
  • Understanding of Banking and Financial services domain is an added plus
  • Good experience managing Agile projects.
  • Experience with project lifecycles, scheduling, risk management, and conflict resolution techniques.
  • Ability to measure the health of the project/s by using appropriate metrics.
  • Exposure to Digital and cloud technologies is an added plus
  • Willingness to work on fast paced projects with different time zones
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence
  • Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus, and achieve objectives

Desired Qualifications:

  • Having managed a core conversion program to IBS (FIS)
  • Having worked for a bank with around $100 billion in assets for longer than a year
  • Experience managing 400+ resources
