Job Summary

Heitmeyer’s west coast banking client is automating the way their customers transfer their assets from one custodian to another and is seeking a Project Manager to help manage the effort. This position requires to be on site 3 days a week in downtown San Francisco.

Job Description:

The key responsibilities for the project manager will include building relationships with key stakeholders, overseeing the vendor process implementation from beginning to end, managing the testing deliverables to ensure the business is properly completing the UAT, and managing the budget. 

Required Skills:

  • 3-5+ years of Project Management experience
  • Recent Banking or Financial Services experience 
  • Experience in 3rd party vendor tool/implementation
  • Strong vendor management experience and demonstrates capability of holding vendor accountable 
  • Demonstrates examples of building strong relationships effectively across departments
  • Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate timelines, expectations, and progress with team members and leadership
  • Strong budget management skills
  • Experience in waterfall and agile methodologies

Highly Desired Skills:

  • Experience working with FIS
  • Knowledgeable of Trust Services or Private Wealth Management
