Job Title: Sr. Data Analyst
Heitmeyer Consulting is currently seeking a Sr. Data Analyst for a contract opportunity with one of our clients in Columbus, Ohio. The selected individual must go onsite in downtown Columbus three days per week.  This position involves tasks such as creating and enhancing Tableau dashboard reports, working with developers, and creating business intelligence reports and visualizations. This position requires people who have problem-solving skills, work well as part of a team, and can manage their time effectively.
Job Responsibilities:

• Build and modify queries using SAS, R, or Python to create data sets for reporting and analysis.
• Design, build and maintain Tableau Dashboards and Reports.
• Perform ad hoc analysis, dashboards and reporting as needed to support leadership and business partners.
• Prepare and interpret results offering insights to help leaders deepen their understanding of performance and gain efficiencies to improve bottom line performance.

Required Skills:

• 4+ years’ experience working in a Data Analyst role incorporating business intelligence.
• Proficient SQL skills.
• Experience customizing and enhancing new and existing Tableau Dashboards.
• Development skills in SAS, R or Python
• Significant experience working with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Strong collaboration and written/verbal communication.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in a financial services environment.
