Job Summary: 
Heitmeyer has banking client that has a need within their Technology organization for an IT Asset Management Practice Lead who can oversee and drive the environment for handling technology assets across the firm.  This role is based in Pittsburgh, PA.    

Job Description: 
The IT Asset Management Practice Lead will be responsible for overseeing the firmwide program regarding procurement, receiving, tracking and deploying new IT assets – both hardware and software.  This individual will collaborate with business, IT and security leaders to manage the entire lifecycle of assets while building the reporting and risk management foundation for the program.

Top Required Skills:

  1. 5+ Years of IT Asset Management Lead Experience, performing IT asset management function – leading the technology practice. [Not manager of people – individual contributor position.]
  2. Looking for someone who has very broad awareness of an enterprise IT environment, needs someone who knows things in the data centers, servers, switches, applications, as well as the end points. 
  3. Someone who can sustain practice – development of policies and procedures so it is highly repeatable, predictable and controlled.
  4. Strong preference for banking background and have taken a practice to an of the major frameworks like FFIEC, NIST or COBIT.
     

Nice-to-have:

  1. Prefer banking and financial services; however, work within highly regulated environment like medical or government related roles would work.
  2. Avanti platform beneficial but not required or background with ServiceNow.
