Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to join a financial institution’s growing Enterprise Architecture team under new leadership. This is a critical role supporting large-scale transformation initiatives across the organization. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, cybersecurity, and engineering teams to design scalable, secure, and innovative technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architectural Design: Collaborate with the Enterprise Architect to design scalable solutions aligned with the company’s strategic technology roadmap. Create architecture diagrams, design specs, and implementation plans.
- Technical Leadership: Guide cross-functional teams through the full project lifecycle, from concept to implementation, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with business goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with business units to gather and translate functional and non-functional requirements. Work closely with cybersecurity and engineering teams to ensure secure and compliant solutions.
- Innovation & Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve system performance. Research and evaluate emerging technologies and tools, including developing proof-of-concepts (POCs).
- Documentation & Communication: Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
Must-Have Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in end-to-end solution architecture design and implementation.
- Strong foundation in software development with object-oriented languages like Java or SQL.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and security best practices.
- Proven ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, collaborative attitude.
