Job Title: Sr Business Analyst
Location: Remote
Heitmeyer Consulting is currently hiring a Sr Business Analyst to support work for a large, East Coast based bank. This position supports an internal consulting division within the bank related to their center of excellence.
Our client is in search of a Sr. level Business Analyst, with, experience owning and managing the business requirements effort in a large, formal program/project team environment supporting regulatory remediation related project work throughout their career. Core BA functions and experience are required. This project follows IIBA/BABOK standards for requirements gathering and solicitation.
Exceptional communication, influencing and partnership skills are mandatory as well as the ability to work on highly complex projects or programs with minimal management supervision.
- Knowledge & alignment to IIBA/PMI Business Analysis best practices
- Experience supporting project work related MRA remediation
- Expertise with requirements traceability
- Root cause analysis understanding
- Previous Financial Institution experience is required – specifically on the business side supporting non-technical business analysis job functions
- Stakeholder management in a matrixed environment is required
- Must have strong facilitation skills
- Experience writing and working with FCR requirements
- FCRM experience is a must
- Strong background with requirements elicitation and strong writing skills
- Understanding of need vs want when interviewing stakeholders and executives
- Having the ability to effectively write requirements from interviews
- Prior large program work highly desirable
- Elicitation / Collaboration skills
- Business vs technical requirements differentiation
- Process mapping
- Professional presence
- 5+ years business analysis experience
- Experience working in Agile methodology with Jira/Confluence is required
- Business analysis accreditation/certification highly preferred
