Job Summary:
Our regional banking client has recently completed a major Oracle Cloud transformation, including the implementation of EPMS systems and a ledger revamp. We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst as they transition from build to production. This role will focus on mapping data sources as part of an effort to ensure Fusion Data Intelligence delivers accurate internal and external reporting.
Key Responsibilities:

Map existing data across Oracle and Snowflake environments.

Perform data reconciliations, compare files, and validate outputs using Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivots, basic comparisons).

Ensure accuracy of data flowing into existing systems and reports.

Run SQL queries (SELECT, WHERE, JOIN, COUNT) to extract data such as loans, deposits, or credit card records.

Use SQL and tools like Co-Pilot to troubleshoot and validate data sources without creating new data models.

Follow direction and execute assigned data-related tasks in Jira with minimal supervision.

Work effectively in ambiguous environments, delivering accurate results on time.

Leverage domain knowledge (loans, deposits, credit cards) to contextualize data mappings and validations.
Required Skills:

Proven experience as a Data Analyst with Oracle skillset.

Strong data mapping skills across multiple systems.

Solid SQL knowledge, including joins, SELECT statements, WHERE clauses, and aggregations.

Ability to work independently with little direction in ambiguous environments.

Domain knowledge in banking products such as loans, deposits, or credit cards.

Experience using Jira for tracking and managing tasks.

Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and file comparison.
