Cloud Engineer
JOB SUMMARY
The Cloud Engineer is responsible for working within the Enterprise Colleague Experience – Productivity team to provide support and administration of SharePoint, Power Platform, Power BI, Copilot infrastructure and responding to internal customer’s queries for internal services. Cloud Engineers are responsible for partnering within the team on the design and implementation of automations across our area of responsibility to drive efficiency. This role also works with partners across IT for execution and delivery on project work involving infrastructure that is under our management. The Cloud Engineer is responsible for knowledge transfer as a mentor to team members and peers.
Job Description
- 5+ years of Information Technologies, or other related areas with experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications
- Admin Center Management tools, including maintenance and monitoring tools, including SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, Copilot, Power Bi, OneDrive, Fabric
- Troubleshooting and resolution of incidents and requests for SharePoint, Power Platform, Power BI environment issues, Copilot, and Teams, and Fabric related issues
- Responsible for resolution of incidents and requests where knowledge of our Microsoft 365 environment is necessary
- Maintain governance of SharePoint, Power Platform, and Copilot in order maintain security and operation of environments with Huntington standards
- Responsible for annual SharePoint and Teams site owner certification process
- Knowledge of SharePoint and OneDrive migrations using ShareGate and BitTitan
- Responsible for server build and maintenance for ShareGate and other solutions
- Responsible for Data Gateway
- Partner across internal teams, including Architecture, Cybersecurity, Public Cloud Engineering, SSO and Identity Management, Data and others as needed for project related work
- Ongoing support of Power Platform citizen developer community
- Maintain and deepen relationship with key Microsoft partners
- Work in partnership with leadership to define and maintain our roadmap
Qualifications
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Experience documenting infrastructure environments with detailed diagrams on internal servers, cloud services
- Analytical ability in supported core technologies for large user bases
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal customers to identify and solve issues
- Strong teaming, organization, and time management skills
- Cross cultural awareness is key
- Ability to manage strategic vendors like Microsoft
- Willingness to share knowledge and should be able to impart classroom / hands on training to others in system
