Heitmeyer has a banking client that has a need for a skilled Disputes Lead who will support the production team in handling fraud items across multiple financial instruments. The ideal candidate will have a deep working knowledge of the TRIPS platform along with operational expertise in fulfilling all regulatory and compliance requirements.
Top Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience as a Disputes leader utilizing TRIPS (Dispute system from Deluxe) to capture processes and documentation for handling of Debit Card, ACH, Zelle and Check fraud actions.
- Strong working knowledge of associated regulatory impacts – especially Reg E (Electronic Fund Transfers) in handling payment disputes associated with money movement along with Nacha rules.
- Excellent communication and ability to evaluate current state and recommend improvements along with automation opportunities.
- Strong background collaborating with teams across the Payment Technology and Fraud Operation organizations.
- Independent resource with strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills who can communicate well through strong interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-have:
- Prefer strong leader who is comfortable with being primary support for team even though won’t have direct management responsibility.
Top Responsibilities:
- Handle ongoing operational support for organization in handling Disputes and Recovery processes for fraud cases – Debit Cards, ACH, Zelle, Checks.
- Serve as SME with TRIPS along with regulatory impacts and decision making to support critical compliance requirements including Reg E and Nacha guidelines.
- Work closely with Fraud Operations and Payment Technology team in evaluating requirements and aligning documentation.
- Support compliance with all Reg E requirements and associated regulatory impacts.
