Business Systems Analyst – Mortgage/Encompass
Position Summary
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support mortgage technology initiatives by gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for system configuration and enhancement efforts. This role will work closely with business stakeholders and systems administrators to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Encompass and mortgage operations, allowing them to ask insightful questions, identify gaps, and help drive effective solutions. Previous experience as an Encompass Administrator or System Administrator is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements
- Partner with business teams and systems administrators to support configuration changes and enhancements
- Review requested changes and identify gaps, dependencies, and process impacts
- Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to clarify requirements and business objectives
- Create functional documentation, process flows, and requirements specifications
- Support testing, validation, and implementation activities as needed
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Business Systems Analyst or related role
- Mortgage industry experience with strong understanding of mortgage processes and workflows
- Hands-on experience with Encompass
- Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical and business teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Encompass Administrator or System Administrator
- Experience supporting system configuration or implementation initiatives
- Ability to proactively identify issues and recommend process improvements
