Position Summary
Heitmeyer Consulting is supporting a banking partner who is looking for an Electronic Banking Representative who supports the bank’s digital banking operations, including debit and ATM card services, online banking, mobile banking, fraud monitoring, account maintenance, and customer support. This role serves as a key resource for customers and internal teams by troubleshooting electronic banking issues, managing transaction processing, supporting fraud prevention efforts, and ensuring a high level of service across digital banking platforms.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of banking operations, electronic banking, deposit operations, or related experience
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with banking systems and digital banking platforms
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
Preferred Qualifications
- Electronic banking or digital banking experience
- Debit card and ATM operations experience
- Online Banking, Mobile Banking, Bill Pay, or Zelle® support experience
- Fraud monitoring or Regulation E dispute experience
- Account reconciliation experience
- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience supporting business banking or treasury management platforms
Key Responsibilities
Electronic Banking Operations
- Support online banking, mobile banking, bill pay, Zelle®, and other electronic banking services
- Process electronic banking requests and customer transactions
- Perform account maintenance and system updates
- Issue, replace, and maintain debit cards, ATM cards, and related records
- Support ATM operations and vendor coordination when needed
- Maintain accurate electronic banking records and documentation
Fraud & Risk Management
- Monitor electronic banking activity for potential fraud and suspicious activity
- Review fraud alerts and investigate account activity
- Manage debit card disputes, chargebacks, and Regulation E claims
- Maintain compliance logs and required customer communications
- Support risk management, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance initiatives
Customer Service & Support
- Assist customers with electronic banking products and services
- Support password resets, account access issues, and digital banking inquiries
- Respond to customer, branch, and call center requests promptly and professionally
- Provide guidance on electronic banking functionality and available services
- Partner with internal departments to resolve customer issues efficiently
Reporting & Administrative Support
- Complete daily operational reviews and reporting requirements
- Perform account reconciliation and transaction research
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Assist with departmental projects and operational initiatives
- Provide backup support for the Call Center and other operational functions as needed
Compliance & Risk Management
- Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Protect confidential customer and account information
- Complete required compliance and regulatory training
- Support internal controls and audit requirements
- Assist with updates to procedures, workflows, and operational documentation
