Software Developer / Front-End Developer
Position Summary
We are seeking a Junior Software Developer / Front-End Developer to support the development and enhancement of enterprise applications. This role is ideal for a developer with 3–5 years of professional experience who has strong experience with .NET and Angular and is comfortable working with relational databases.
The position will primarily focus on front-end development while providing opportunities to contribute across the full technology stack. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other developers and technical teams to develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance business applications.
Contract Duration: Through the end of the year
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Angular and .NET.
- Build responsive and user-friendly front-end components and application functionality.
- Develop and consume APIs and integrate front-end applications with back-end services.
- Write and maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Work with relational databases, including SQL Server and/or DB2.
- Use DB2 to write and execute queries to retrieve, validate, and troubleshoot application data.
- Troubleshoot application issues and identify opportunities for performance and functionality improvements.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other technical teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Participate in testing, debugging, code reviews, and application releases.
- Follow established development standards, processes, and best practices.
- Assist with both front-end and back-end development activities as needed.
Required Technical Skills
- 3–5 years of professional software development experience
- Strong experience with Angular
- Strong experience with .NET / C#
- Experience with SQL and/or DB2
- Ability to write and execute DB2 queries
- Understanding of web application development and front-end development concepts
- Experience working with APIs and integrating front-end and back-end applications
- Experience troubleshooting application and data-related issues
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with React — preferred but not required for the current project
- Experience with Java and Spring Boot
- Full-stack development experience
- Experience working in an enterprise application environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- 3–5 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a development team.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a front-end-focused developer who can work across the stack, with solid hands-on experience in Angular, .NET, and databases. Experience with DB2 querying is particularly valuable for this position. React and Java/Spring Boot experience are beneficial but are not required.
