Job Summary: 
Heitmeyer has banking client that has a need within their Fraud organization for a Fraud Investigator who can help detect and resolve fraud issues for customers across multiple fraud types. 

Job Description: 
The Fraud Investigator will be responsible for working on fraud investigations that may include check fraud, elder abuse, identity theft, privacy issues, email compromised and various financial scams.  This individual will need to be able to fulfill a SAR (Suspicious Activity Report) filing and work with customers and associated parties on resolution within a fast-paced environment.  

Location:

• Pittsburgh, PA – require 5 days/week on-site

Top Required Skills:

1. Prefer 5+ years as a Fraud Investigator with SAR filing experience.  NOTE: This is not aligned to AML investigations but Check Fraud, Elder Abuse, Identity Theft, Privacy Issues; Email Compromised; Scams; High $ Debit/Credit Card Fraud.
2. Require strong communication skills with customer contact and working with multiple resources to resolve fraud issues.  
3. Must be able to multi-task and have solid organizational skills to ensure meeting KPI targets around capacity, workload and efficiencies along with quality.  
4. Must be self-starter with strong initiative and willingness to get the job done with minimal oversight.  

Nice-to-have:

1. Previous experience with Actimize fraud tool beneficial but not required.  

Top Responsibilities:

• Conduct investigations into various fraud activities – check fraud, elder abuse, ID theft, privacy issues.
• File SARs when applicable.
• Manage backlog of cases and maintain productivity and quality metrics.  
• Communicate with customers and other involved parties regarding investigation results and closure.  

NOTE: Role is not focused on anti-money laundering activities and investigations.
