Location: 100% Remote in California (candidates in Sacramento with the ability to go onsite are highly preferred)
Duration: 6-month Contract-to-Hire

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our client in their transition from traditional on-prem servers to Databricks on Azure. Your expertise in business analysis within data-heavy environments will be crucial in making data actionable and supporting the overall migration process.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accompany the data architect in discussions about system builds, actively listening, asking probing questions, and documenting the information.
2. Document use cases and requirements to support the transition and implementation of data solutions.
3. Utilize an agile-based approach to implement data services and solutions.

Must-Have Requirements:

1. 5+ years of business analysis experience in data-heavy environments.
   • Understanding of how data flows through an organization and how to make data actionable.
2. Strong listening skills and ability to ask probing questions.
3. Ability to work in unstructured environments and solve problems effectively.
4. Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
5. Excellent communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

1. Proficiency in SQL.
2. Experience with Azure.
3. Experience in the banking or credit union industry.
