Business Systems Analyst – FIS Systematics

Location: Within 50 miles of Fort Lauderdale, FL or Mount Laurel, NJ preferred. Remote considered for exceptional candidates in EST.
Duration: 6–12 Months (Contract-to-Hire)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systematics Analyst to support modernization projects for our large banking client. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with FIS Systematics applications and a strong understanding of mainframe systems, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support 2–3 concurrent projects related to core banking deposits
• Translate business requirements into detailed technology requirements
• Write and review system use cases
• Conduct peer reviews and validate solution designs
• Support QA testing efforts, including defect resolution and parameter updates

Required Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of recent hands-on experience with FIS Systematics
  • Understanding of the application functionality,
  • Experience with at least one of the following modules: RM (Relationship Management), IM (Interest Management), ST (Statement), FM (Financial Management). 

• Technical proficiency in either:
  • Mainframe (COBOL, TSO/ISPF, CAVIEW, PDS & Application Easytrieve, File-Aid, Endevor)
  • OR strong application experience with Excel (including Macros)
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to write clear and concise system use cases

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• COBOL, TSO/ISPF, CAVIEW, PDS & Easytrieve, File-Aid, Endevor
• Experience with application balancing and GL reconciliation
