Business Systems Analyst – Debit Card Processing

Location: 100% remote located in EST or CST. Must work EST hours
 
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to support the early stages of our banking client’s debit card conversion as they transition to a new system. This is not a lead role, but it requires a highly experienced professional who can work independently with minimal support.
The ideal candidate has a strong technical business analysis background, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of debit card processing. This position is heavily focused on documentation, testing, and execution rather than product ownership.
 
Responsibilities:

• Participate in the design and documentation phase, gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.
• Provide expertise in debit card processing to ensure a smooth execution of project deliverables.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for testing and business processes.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system functionality.

 
Required Skills:

• Extensive experience as a business systems analyst, with a focus on execution rather than leadership.
• Strong background in debit card processing, with the ability to contribute immediately.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
• Solid business analysis skills, including documentation, process mapping, and testing.

 
Preferred “Nice-to-Have” Skills

• Experience working with Fiserv.
• Familiarity with Jira or Confluence for documentation and collaboration.
• Knowledge of Zephyr or other testing tools.
• Exposure to automated testing frameworks.
