Job Summary:
We’re partnering exclusively with a community-focused bank to hire a Product Manager in Core Deposits. This role will oversee the bank’s retail deposit product portfolio while driving strategy, product development, and process improvements. The team is looking for someone who can bring a fresh perspective, shift time away from operational work, and focus on strengthening product strategy across both consumer and small business lines.
You’ll work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, business banking, and treasury. This position reports directly to the Senior Vice President and CFO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full retail deposit product portfolio, including product planning, business support, marketing, and performance tracking. Products include checking, HSAs, money market, IRAs, CDs, and payment products.
  • Define new products and refine existing ones, positioning the bank with strong strategies and competitive pricing to drive deposit growth.
  • Partner with marketing, operations, relationship banking, and treasury to ensure alignment and strong product delivery across both consumer and business sides.
  • Analyze current products from a member perspective; identify gaps, opportunities, and enhancements to ensure offerings remain competitive and relevant.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and strengthen the customer experience.

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of product management experience, including strategy and pricing.
  • Core deposit product expertise (checking, money market, CDs).
  • Experience in both retail and small business banking.
  • Background in smaller/community banks (large-bank-only experience will not be a fit).
  • Proven examples of process improvement and measurable impact.

Nice-to-have:

  • Commercial experience
