Job Title: Program Delivery Analyst     
Location: Remote

Summary:
Our client needs to add a resource to focus on assisting the PMO teams with various tooling/automation support for project level reviews, governance and reporting across the portfolios. They will help with the automation of processes to create dashboards, trend reports and to improve the overall reporting efficiency.

Skillset/Expertise:
1. Microsoft Power Platform

  • Power Automate:
  • Automates workflows across Microsoft 365 apps and third-party services.
  • No-code/low-code tool for creating workflows like email notifications, approvals, and data synchronization.
  • Power Apps:
  • Build custom apps to interact with Microsoft suite data.
  • Need knowledge of excel functions and some JavaScript
  • HTML/CSS knowledge as well
  • Power BI:
  • Automate data visualization and reporting.
  • DAX, Power Query (M Language), Relational Modeling
  • UX and Design

    2. SharePoint Automation

    • Automate workflows using Power Automate.
    • Knowledge of SharePoint REST API for advanced automation.

    3. Programming Languages (Any or all)

    • VBA (Visual Basic for Applications):
    • Used for creating macros and automating tasks in Excel, Word, and Access.
    • Ideal for repetitive tasks like data formatting, report generation, etc.
  • Python:
  • Libraries like openpyxl, pandas, pywin32, and python-docx can automate Excel, Word, and Outlook tasks.
  • PowerShell:
  • Useful for automating administrative tasks in Microsoft 365, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • JavaScript:
  •  Useful for event based coding in power platform
  • HTML/CSS:
  • Useful for design and UX

    4. Data Manipulation and Analysis

    • Excel Formulas and Pivot Tables: For semi-automated data analysis.
    • SQL(Potentially if we can clarity records stored in the Access Database): For working with Access or other databases integrated with Microsoft tools.
    • Transforming data through PowerBI or Python and providing visualizations

    5. Scripting and Command-Line Tools

    • Batch Scripting: For basic automation tasks.
    • Command-Line Tools: Automate tasks like file management and scheduling.

    6. Understanding of APIs, REST API, and HTTP Methods (potentially useful if we can avoid security concerns)
    General Skills

    • Debugging and Troubleshooting: Identify and fix issues in automation scripts.
    • Understanding Business Processes: Tailor automation to specific organizational needs.
    • Documentation: Maintain clear documentation for automated workflows.
