Data & AI Literacy Instructional Designer

Location: Cincinnati, OH – Onsite 2 days per week

Job Summary:
As part of our P&C Insurance client’s enterprise strategy to become a data-driven organization, we are seeking a professional to lead and deliver data and AI literacy programs. This role is critical in educating employees on what it means to make data-driven decisions and how to leverage AI tools effectively. You will design and deliver engaging learning experiences that empower teams across the enterprise.
 
Key Responsibilities:

1. Create, teach courses, and train on data literacy and AI literacy for diverse audiences.
2. Design technical training, newsletters, and digital content using platforms like Vyond and LMS tools.
3. Lead initiatives to educate the organization on AI concepts, tools, and practical applications for the business.
4. Work with IT, HR, and business units to tailor training programs, including specialized courses for areas like Claims.
5. Produce instructional videos, job aids, and toolkits to support learning and adoption of data and AI tools.

 
Required Skills:

• Instructional design experience combined with strong knowledge of data analytics and AI (including generative AI tools like Copilot).
• Ability to understand data concepts and apply quantitative reasoning to solve problems.
• Hands-on experience with Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Experience creating learning modules using Vyond or similar platforms.
• Reliable, independent, and able to work collaboratively across multiple teams. Creative in tailoring training for different audiences.

 
Nice-to-Have:

• Familiarity with commercial insurance, claims, or underwriting processes.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot.
• Experience with Vyond platform.
