Job Summary:
Heitmeyer Consulting is currently hiring for an SBA Loan Document Specialist for a bank in the Midwest.  Applicants must possess a strong understanding of the SBA Loan guidelines, have previous experience closing business or SBA loans, and is detail oriented enough to read through 500 pages of loan documents and fill in SBA templates with very little handholding.

Responsibilities/What to Expect

• You will be a part of the SBA Pre close team and will be reviewing SBA loans to determine their SBA eligibility.
• You will be reading through potentially up to 500 pages of loan documents and keying in information into SBA templates.
• Attention to detail is paramount in this role, as loan packages can be significant, and every little detail matters.
• You will also come from a background of business lending in general and are someone who knows there way around loan packages.

Required Skills:

• Must have basic SBA Lending experience or understanding
• Must know the business loan closing process.
• Must be a self starter who is detailed oriented and can read through up to 500 pages of loan documents and fill in SBA templates and know what they're doing with little hand holding.
• Must have previous experience weeding through large loan documents and pull out necessary information. You will not have to do much writing, but attention to detail and accuracy will be key.
• Must be a team player and someone who is willing to collaborate and help others.

Nice to Have Skills

• SBA loan closing would be highly preferred
