Project Manager – Data (MuleSoft Focus)

Overview:
We are seeking a Project Manager to support a large-scale bank M&A conversion and integration program, with a focus on data integration and API-driven migrations. This role will lead initiatives involving data and system conversion from legacy platforms to target-state architecture, with a strong emphasis on MuleSoft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of data integration and system conversion projects
  • Translate business requirements into detailed conversion plans, scope, and execution strategy
  • Partner with architects and engineering teams on MuleSoft integration and migration efforts
  • Define and manage project timelines, milestones, and critical path for conversion activities
  • Maintain and manage RAID logs, with focus on risks related to data integrity, system migration, and cutover timing
  • Drive data conversion activities, including mapping, transformation, and validation coordination
  • Provide structured status reporting and executive updates
  • Coordinate across cross-functional teams and vendors supporting integration and migration efforts
  • Support testing, UAT, and data validation, ensuring readiness for conversion
  • Lead and support cutover planning, rehearsal, and go-live execution
  • Ensure adherence to project governance, documentation, and audit requirements
  • Manage scope changes and evolving conversion requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in technology environments
  • Experience supporting MuleSoft or similar integration platforms
  • Strong experience with data integration and system/data conversion initiatives
  • Banking or financial services experience strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High level of adaptability and flexibility in evolving environments
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure, deadline-driven M&A environment
  • Proven ability to:
    • Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies (RAID)
    • Define and manage critical path
    • Drive execution across cross-functional teams
  • Experience supporting system conversions, migrations, or large-scale integration programs strongly preferred
