Job Title: Category Strategist (Technology & Data Sourcing)
Overview
We are seeking a motivated Category Strategist to support sourcing and procurement initiatives within the technology and data space. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional (1–3 years of experience) who is eager to grow, with strong support and training provided.
Key Responsibilities

• Support sourcing activities for technology and data-related categories, including software and professional services
• Assist in vendor evaluation, selection, and contract negotiations
• Contribute to category strategy development and execution
• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and align sourcing solutions
• Analyze spend data and market trends to identify cost-saving and value-creation opportunities
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements where applicable

Required Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or category management
• Exposure to software procurement and/or professional services negotiations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a regulated industry such as banking or insurance
• Proficiency in ExcelAlteryx and/or Power BI is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
