International Operations Analyst

Location: Columbus, OH (Gateway Operations Center)
Schedule: Onsite, 5 days per week

Position Summary

We are seeking detail-oriented International Operations Analysts to support Trade Finance and Supply Chain Finance operations. This role is responsible for reviewing complex financial documentation, processing transactions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and supporting the servicing of international trade products.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and experience reviewing financial or loan documentation in a banking or financial services environment.

As part of an evolving operations team, this role will also support process modernization initiatives, including the adoption of AI-driven document processing and new trade finance platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, analyze, and process documentation related to international trade and supply chain finance transactions.
  • Process Letters of Credit, collections, and other trade finance transactions while ensuring compliance with bank policies and industry standards.
  • Review transaction documentation for completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support due diligence and operational review activities, including sanctions and compliance-related processes.
  • Enter and validate transaction data within operational systems.
  • Perform quality control reviews to ensure accurate processing and documentation.
  • Provide support and guidance to internal partners and customers regarding operational procedures and requirements.
  • Collaborate with audit, risk, and compliance teams to support control testing and documentation requests.
  • Cross-train across multiple operational functions and support continuous process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in loan operations, banking operations, financial services operations, document review, or transaction processing.
  • Experience reviewing financial, loan, legal, or compliance-related documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Banking, commercial lending, trade finance, or treasury operations experience.
  • Experience with Letters of Credit, Import/Export transactions, or Supply Chain Finance.
  • Knowledge of OFAC, compliance review processes, or financial due diligence activities.
  • Understanding of UCP600, ISP98, and International Standard Banking Practice guidelines.
  • General accounting knowledge.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Certified Documentary Credit Specialist (CDCS) certification is a plus.
  • Experience with trade finance platforms or workflow systems.
  • Foreign language proficiency is a plus.
