A former client of Heitmeyer Consulting recommended our services to a top 50 US bank that was looking for support with HOGAN development. What began as an agreement for staff augmentation expanded to a long-term engagement involving our full suite of Advisory and Consulting services.
Background
The client initially came to Heitmeyer to assist with the buildout of a specialized team to handle Hogan development and core banking transformation. Heitmeyer deployed a team of subject matter experts with expertise in Hogan development including develops, testers, project managers and more, with many consultants staying on full time as contract-to-hire.
Outcome
Heitmeyer took a blended approach to solve a complex problem. While the client approached with the intent of Hogan development assistance, both sides quickly realized that this was just the tip of the iceberg. The real problem was a need for overall company transformation to be better prepared for expansion. Needing the ability to be agile with acquisitions and efficient with integration once the deal was signed. While improving these systems, upgrades were also made to general customer experience.
Our approach began with the deployment of specialized resources for technical development and oversight. This expanded into increased governance over multiple departments and projects, headed by our executive team of banking professionals with decades of financial services experience. Heitmeyer not only created the outline for progression, but directly executed it. Our services came at a reduced cost when compared to major firms, and we are able to handle all facets of project development instead of forcing the client to split tasks between third parties.
