Overview:

We’re seeking a Business Analyst to provide operational and systems support across Commercial Loan Services, including loan booking, collateral, agency, SBA, and maintenance functions. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in commercial loan operations and a focus on driving process and system improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day operations, troubleshoot issues, and provide guidance to front-line staff.

  • Act as SME for commercial loan systems (e.g., AFS Vision, FIS ACBS).

  • Document requirements and translate into functional specs.

  • Lead small to mid-size projects and coordinate testing (SIT, UAT).

  • Identify and implement process enhancements and automation opportunities.

  • Collaborate with Technology, Risk, and Business teams on cross-functional initiatives.

  • Maintain documentation, track timelines, and provide status updates.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s + 3 years banking ops experience or HS Diploma + 5 years.

  • 2+ years as a Business Analyst in a banking environment.

  • 3+ years in commercial lending or business banking operations.

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, Visio).

  • Experience in high-volume, deadline-driven production environments.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with AFS Vision and/or FIS ACBS.

  • Reporting experience with SQL, Tableau, Crystal Reports, or SAS.

  • Exposure to tools like JIRA, Confluence, or MS Project.
