Job Title: Senior O365 Messaging & Exchange Engineer

Overview:
Seeking an experienced engineer to design, optimize, and support our enterprise messaging platform with a focus on Microsoft Exchange Online (O365) and email security. This role serves as a technical lead and escalation point, driving secure, reliable, and compliant email operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and manage Exchange Online, hybrid deployments, and O365 messaging solutions.

• Lead migrations, integrations, and platform transitions for business initiatives.

• Act as Tier-3 escalation for complex messaging issues; drive root cause analysis.

• Administer and optimize email security tools (Proofpoint, Cisco IronPort, etc.).

• Implement compliance, security policies, and DLP measures.

• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and processes; integrate with ServiceNow workflows.

• Identify automation opportunities to improve system reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years in Exchange (on-prem & O365) engineering, hybrid deployments, and troubleshooting.

• Expertise in mail flow, DNS, SMTP, and transport rules.

• Strong PowerShell skills for automation and reporting.

• Experience with email security platforms and ServiceNow ITSM.

• Knowledge of O365 compliance, retention, and security practices.

• Preferred: Experience with Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Azure AD, MFA, archiving, and M&A integration.
