Location: Within 50 miles of Fort Lauderdale, FL, New York City, NY, Mount Laurel, NJ, and Charlotte, NC is highly preferred. Remote considered for exceptional candidates in EST.
Duration: 12-18 Months – potential to convert to FTE depending on performance, headcount, and location
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst with FIS Systematics experience to support core banking projects. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with any FIS core banking applications, core conversion experience, and a strong understanding of mainframe systems with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work across 2–3 concurrent projects focused on core banking deposits
- Collaborate within agile pods alongside PMs, solution designers, developers, and QA testers
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and mapping documents
- Support API development and integration efforts
- Conduct gap analysis including data mapping, validation, and research
- Write and maintain system use cases and support functional testing
- Review solution designs to ensure alignment with requirements
- Assist QA testers with defect resolution and system parameter updates
Required Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of recent hands-on experience with FIS Systematics. Understanding of the application functionality,
- Experience with 2 or more of the following modules: RM (Relationship Management), IM (Interest Management), ST (Statement), as well AM/ALS.
- Proven Core Conversion experience performing gap analysis between legacy and new systems
- Technical proficiency in either Mainframe (COBOL, TSO/ISPF, CAVIEW, PDS & Application Easytrieve, File-Aid, Endevor) OR strong application experience with Excel (including Macros)
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to write clear and concise system use cases
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- COBOL, TSO/ISPF, CAVIEW, PDS & Easytrieve, File-Aid, Endevor
- Experience with application balancing and GL reconciliation
- Core Conversion experience
