Job Title: Senior Programmer Analyst – Mainframe

Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Programmer Analyst with strong mainframe expertise to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of hands-on experience with COBOL, DB2, and CICS, and a solid understanding of enterprise mainframe applications and systems. This role is critical to supporting and enhancing core banking systems and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and support mainframe applications using COBOL, DB2, and CICS.

• Analyze system requirements and business needs to design technical solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

• Contribute to performance tuning, system optimization, and documentation.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in mainframe development.

• Expertise in COBOL, DB2, and CICS.

• Strong understanding of batch and online processing in enterprise environments.

• Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues independently.

Preferred Experience:

• Banking or financial services industry background.

• Exposure to Hogan systems or core banking platforms is a strong plus.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
