Summary

The Lead Data Engineer builds, optimizes, and productionizes data pipelines that power enterprise analytics. This role provides technical leadership, improves data quality, and develops team members while partnering with analysts, data scientists, and business users across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines.
• Modernize data infrastructure and automate data integration processes.
• Partner with data science and analytics teams to refine data requirements.
• Train teams on data preparation and pipeline best practices.
• Support data governance and promote curated, reusable datasets.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Lead, mentor, and develop team members; collaborate across functions.
• Track emerging technologies and guide adoption.
• Support organizational change and continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
• 7+ years in data management, engineering, integration, modeling, or data quality.
• 7+ years with database programming and advanced analytics tools.
