Location: 100% Remote (East Coast hours)

Role Summary
We are seeking a Senior SailPoint IAM Reporting Specialist for our regional banking client to improve and operationalize SailPoint reporting in preparation for automation initiatives planned for later this year. This role focuses on fixing reporting performance, data inconsistencies, and extracting reliable identity data for operations, compliance, and onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize SailPoint IdentityIQ reports for operational, audit, and compliance needs (JML, certifications, entitlement usage).
  • Improve reporting performance, consistency, and data quality by resolving bottlenecks and standardizing identity data.
  • Extract SailPoint identity and access data into downstream platforms (data lake, warehouse, analytics tools).
  • Build and schedule automated reporting jobs with monitoring, logging, and operational handoff.
  • Write and tune complex SQL for reporting, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
  • Deliver reports in Excel/CSV formats and optionally support Power BI dashboards.

Must-Have Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ reporting, identity data models, and core objects (identities, roles, entitlements, applications, certifications).
  • Proven ability to write and optimize complex queries across large datasets; experience with SailPoint backend databases.
  • Experience creating audit-ready IAM reports and defining reporting schemas, data dictionaries, and mappings.
  • Hands-on experience building scheduled SailPoint jobs, API/scripted extracts, and integrating data with external systems.
  • Strong understanding of identity lifecycle data (JML), correlation rules, authoritative sources, and data accuracy controls.
